Friends of the Earth Europe is:

the largest grassroots environmental network in Europe campaigning for sustainable solutions to benefit the planet, people and our common future
united by a common belief in strong grassroots activism and effective national and international advocacy
the European branch of Friends of the Earth International, the world's largest grassroots environmental network uniting 68 national member organisations and some 5,000 local activist groups on every continent

Friends of the Earth Europe:

influences European and EU policy and raises public awareness on environmental issues by providing institutions, media and the public with regular information via a wide range of campaigns, publications and events
supports the network with representation, advice and coordination in European and EU policy making, and sharing of knowledge, skills, tools and resources
enables people to participate in its international campaigns through local activist groups and national organisations in more than 30 European countries

Friends of the Earth Europe works to:

promote environmentally sustainable societies on the local, national, regional and global levels
protect the earth against further deterioration and repair damage inflicted upon the environment by human activities and negligence
